Free PPI-Net compound library

11 Sep 2014

PPI-Net is delighted to announce that a compound collection that was purchased using PPI-Net funds is now available for free of charge (except for postage) to all PPI-Net members. This PPI Net compound collection is a library of 1534 compounds that can be used for screening.

This is stored in Leeds and is intended to assist the community by making copies available free of charge as a starting point for screens and assays.  GSK have also generously contributed £10,000 towards further expansion of the library.

PPI-Net members can request access to the request sytem in order to  view the SD files and order compounds by emailing us.

Please note:

  1. The PPI-net collection is for academic use only.
  2. Users of the collection would normally only be provided with one set of compounds. In the event of successful identification of a hit from a screening campaign, users should be prepared to obtain further quantities directly from the supplier.
  3. Where use of the compound collection leads to a publication, appropriate acknowledgement should be given as follows:
We wish to thank the EPSRC funded network, PPI-net (EP/I037210/1 and EP/I037172/1) and GSK for making the PPI-net screening collection available.
